Senators’ Dorion on the Right Course
Pierre Dorion has already put his stamp on the Senators.
But he may not be done tinkering.
The Senators GM was on the course at the beautiful Royal Ottawa Golf Club Monday for the club’s annual charity tournament, however, between chips and putts he spent a lot of time on the phone because he’s still trying to add a player or two before camp opens next Thursday at the Canadian Tire Centre.
Speaking following his round, Dorion indicated while he’s happy with what he has going into camp, he has been kicking tires on signing another free-agent forward and repeated he may also bring in a free-agent defenceman on a professional tryout (PTO) or, perhaps, even sign one to a contract.
“As far as our roster being set I still think we’re working at it,” Dorion said. “I’ve been talking to quite a few agents over the past few days.
