Plenty of Work for Ahead for Ticats

If there were a pill — or at least a legal one — that could make you forget an entire football game, Luke Tasker would have already taken one … perhaps even two.
As Tasker and the rest of the Tiger-Cats prepare for Thursday’s visit from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, it is the memories of Friday’s home loss to B.C. that still haunts them.
The 28-3 thrashing was something the likes of which Tasker, nor many of the Ticats around since the Kent Austin days in Hamilton began, can ever recall. Bad is an appropriate description of the Ticats’ performance that night but even that is lacking.
“We just felt like pretty much on every level we didn’t do what we expected of ourselves,” Tasker said. “Some games you can battle through some mental errors. Some games you can battle through some things not going your way but that game, we just couldn’t get it going on any level.”
