The Seattle Seahawks today received the respect of the legendary WWE star turned actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
“Just heard Jared Allen’s a SEAHAWK. Very happy for that beast…
#DefenseWinsChampionships,” Dwayne tweeted.
Looks like praise from The Rock you can be happy with your free agency work.
The praise came in when the reigning Super Bowl champions had added Jared Allen to their roster.
Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl last year largely due to their imposing defensive unit and the arrival of Allen from the Minnesota Vikings this time will only make things better.
The Seahawks led the NFL last season in a remarkable fashion.
Before pursuing a career in professional wrestling, Johnson himself played football in college and lined up at defensive tackle for the 1991 national championship, winning Miami Hurricanes.
