Kevin Pillar Back with Blue Jays, But Devon Travis Needs Day Off
It was one man back and one man down at the Rogers Centre as the Blue Jays returned to action Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Returning from a sprained thumb and a short two-game rehab stint with class-A Dunedin was outfielder Kevin Pillar.
Out, for at least one evening, was second baseman Devon Travis. Travis jammed his throwing hand at some point and wound up straining a ligament just behind his ring finger.
