Une femme poignardée à mort sur le Plateau-Mont-Royal

Une femme de 49 ans est morte après avoir été poignardée à plusieurs reprises au haut du corps dans la nuit de samedi à dimanche dans un appartement du Plateau-Mont-Royal, à Montréal.

L’agression par arme blanche est survenue vers 1 h 35 du matin dans un logement situé sur la rue Gilford, à proximité de la rue Marquette, a indiqué le porte-parole du Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Jean-Pierre Brabant.

Un homme de 23 ans a été arrêté sur place par les policiers, avant d’être conduit dans un centre hospitalier pour une évaluation psychologique.

Les enquêteurs du SPVM sont présents sur les lieux avec des techniciens en identité judiciaire pour analyser les circonstances de l’événement.

Un périmètre de sécurité a été mis en place sur la rue Gilford, entre les rues Marquette et Fabre. Il s’agit du deuxième homocide à Montréal en 2021.
