An Ellis County, TX, witness reports watching a black, boomerang-shaped object with a “a mist or a shadow all around it as it flew across the night sky towards the north,” according to May 4, 2012, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was in the backyard watching the night sky when the object was first observed.

“Most of the object’s structure was visible as a black, boomerang shape, with about 4-5 light blue-white lights along the bottom side of the wings, but there was something strange about it,” the witness stated.

The witness said there seemed to be a mist around the object.

“There appeared to be a mist or a shadow all around it as it flew across the night sky towards the north. The object and its lights were visible, but the effect of the ‘mist’ surrounding it made me blink and strain to focus at what I was seeing even though the outline of the object was clear.”

The witness ran inside to alert his wife and retrieve a pair of binoculars. But upon returning outside, the object was gone.
