Argos Rowing in Right Direction

The Argonauts have shown progression from Week 1 — opening night at home against Hamilton, an evening when they played about as poorly as you can possibly play.
They were much better in Regina, despite some deficiencies in all three phases, and even better in Vancouver during Thursday’s 25-14 victory over the previously unbeaten Lions, a night when the Argos improved from quarter to quarter.
In the second half, Toronto was clearly the superior team.
“Last week was an important game,’’ said Argos head coach Scott Milanovich said of the win over the Roughriders in Regina. “You don’t want to go 0-2. I saw the fight, I saw the pride, all those things and to back it up with a big win (against B.C.).
