Alouettes Receiver S.J. Green Out Rest of Season With Shredded Knee
MONTREAL – Alouettes receiver S.J. Green will miss the remainder of Montreal’s season with a shredded knee, the team announced on Saturday.
An MRI on Green’s right knee show that he has suffered a complete tear of his medial collateral ligament, posterior cruciate ligament, anterior cruciate ligament as well as the meniscus in his right knee.
The 31-year-old import receiver suffered this injury in the second quarter of Thursday’s game against the Ottawa Redblacks. His injury will require months of rehabilitation.
International running back Tyrell Sutton suffered a sprained MCL in the same game and has been placed on the six-game injured list.
