Meghan Markle’s Stunning Givenchy Wedding Dress Is on Display in Scotland

Meghan Markle stunned the world with her breathtaking Givenchy wedding dress, and now her classic gown is on display for the public to see up close.

Markle’s dress, which was designed by Clare Waight Keller, Artistic Director at Givenchy, is now on display as part of an exhibition entitled A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland, the Metro reported.

The dress was previously on display at Windsor Castle, and is now the central piece in the new exhibition. The crowning jewel, if you will.

In addition to the £20,000 (more than $25,000 USD) dress, the exhibition also shows off Markle’s impressive, 16-foot-long veil embroidered with delicate flowers, her diamond tiara (a gift from the Queen), and an exact replica of her bouquet made of artificial flowers, according to the Metro.

Markle also had a second dress for the wedding reception, a custom silk gown by Stella McCartney, but it is not part of this exhibition.

Prince Harry’s Household Cavalry uniform is also on display next to Markle’s dress, as are the wedding outfits for Prince George and Princess Charlotte. According to The Sun, Prince Harry’s uniform may not actually be the exact one he wore on his wedding day, but it is an exact copy.

The exhibition will be open daily (excluding some blackout dates in late June and early July) from Friday, June 14 to Sunday, October 6. Adult admission is £15 (about $19), students and seniors are £13.50 ($17), children under 17 are £8.70 (about $11). Children under five can enter for free.
