GOLDEN OLDIES Randy OAPs are having BETTER sex than you – as libidos rocket in your 80s
OAPs are more likely to share the same sexual likes as their partner and generally feel emotionally closer to one another as they get older
RANDY pensioners over 80 are having better sex than middle-aged Brits, a report reveals.
The horny coffin-dodgers are more likely to share the same sexual likes as their partner than people aged 50 to 79
And they generally feel emotionally closer to each other.
Post-menopausal women find it increasingly difficult to become aroused between the ages of 50 and 79.
But their sex drive rockets after 80, when they are more readily turned on, the study of 70,000 people over 50 found.
The findings are published today in a report by the International Longevity Centre UK, named: How long will I love you? Sex and intimacy in later life.
It shows women aged over 50 grow happier as they have more sexual contact, including kissing, fondling and petting.
But the additional demand for sex puts pressure on their blokes, who admit struggling to keep up.
Men in this age group are happiest when they are intimate with their partner just two or three times a week, rather than daily.
Their better sex lives could be down to longevity of relationships, feeling happier in their own skin, or the house simply being empty of other people

And they feel a greater obligation to have sex once they hit 80 than at any age between 50 and 79.
Report author Dr David Lee, from the University of Manchester, said: “There is a perception among society as a whole that sex stops once your 80 – be it through disbelief, disgust or humour.
“That clearly isn’t the case – and not how the over-eighties see it. There are no age boundaries and we need to get away from this idea.
“Their better sex lives could be down to longevity of relationships, feeling happier in their own skin, or the house simply being empty of other people.
