You Can Rent These Amazing Modern Mini-Cabins In Quebec This Winter

Montreal is an amazing city that offers nearly everything you need, no matter the time of year. It also delivers one of Canada’s punchiest winters, with often record-low temperatures and record-high snowfalls.

So, getting out of the city and into the fresh air at times is the only way to cope. When winter temps you to stay indoors and hermit away, the great outdoors can offer you something the city can’t, even in the harshest season of the year.

TL;DR Repère Boréale is located in Charlevoix, Quebec, right on the Saint Lawrence river. It is a wooded oasis where you can rent a tiny cabin and enjoy the serenity of nature. Check out a bunch of pics below that showcase the distinct and beautiful architecture.

When I came across this Instagram I knew immediately that I would have to try and get away to spend a weekend in one of these cute little cabins in the woods.

I haven’t had the chance yet, but I know I’ll make it happen one day.

Especially after this…

So. Friggen. Cozy.

Repère Boréal is located in Charlevoix, on the Saint Lawrence River.

It’s a large plot of land owned by two brothers who wanted to create a refuge in this area they loved so much. They wanted it to be a place where people could come and experience the stunning Charlevoix nature without impediment.

This is why the dwellings were designed to create as much openness to the sounding landscape as possible.

You can rent a one-bed cabin for as low as $119 a night.

This includes a kitchenette, Wi-Fi, fireplace, and access to the Spa Zone.

The Spa Zone is reserved for guests only and access is included in all reservations.

It is open in all four seasons and is surrounded by beautiful nature on all sides.

The cold shower obviously doesn’t run in the wintertime, so you’ll just have to get your cool down in the snow.

The spa also includes hot baths and this cute barrel sauna:

One of the greatest perks, in my opinion, are the fireplaces.

As it becomes more and more difficult to have a fire on the island on Montreal, I’m always interested in learning about new places I can have myself a bonfire.

The surrounding area also presents lots of opportunities to get lost in nature. You can go for a hike or even take a drive to Quebec City.

The nature center nearby offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and skating, which is sure to be fun for visitors of all ages.

Repère Boréale is super family friendly, as well as pet friendly, so you don’t have to feel like you need to leave anyone at home!

Check their site to be sure of any restrictions for kids or animals.

Every rental dwelling is different so get in touch if you’re not sure what is included.

This place is the absolute definition of cozy in the wintertime.

Can you think of a more romantic getaway than a tiny cabin, secluded in the woods?
