Montreal Has A New Traditional Dumpling Restaurant & It’s Getting Rave Reviews

It is no secret that Montreal has a slew of amazing restaurants to pick from. Although we already have some epic dumpling spots, the dumpling game has a new player in town and it is slowly climbing to the top of everyone’s list.

If you’ve been living under a rock, dumplings are mouth-watering pieces of dough filled with meat, fish or vegetables. Dumplings are definitely a fan favourite in our city, and these heavenly, bite-size delicacies have some of the most insane flavours you will ever try.

Plus, a growing trend in Montreal is the soup dumpling, or Xiaolongbao, a dumpling made with hot soup inside that makes for a truly mesmerizing first bite.

The newest dumpling shop in town, BeiJing Dumpling, is located on Saint-Denis Street and has been killing it since it’s opening and it is worth the hype.

The menu consists of delicious soup dumplings and fried dumplings. This eatery is your classic and standard dumpling spot, however, what makes it stand out is how truly incredible the food actually is.

There are numerous options to pick from and you even have the option of combining two flavours together, allowing you to create your ideal meal.

If you don’t believe me, the reviews speak for themselves. Montreal locals are raving about this spot and all of them agree that the food is incredible and service is awesome, which I know will pique the curiosity of many readers. Take a look below…

Although Montreal has a great variety of restaurants, of course, we are always looking for somewhere new to try and BeiJing Dumpling is practically demanding to be next or your list with reviews like the ones seen below!

MTL Blog reader Dindo Miras tipped us off to BeiJing Dumpling. He tells us that it’s a “family owned restaurant (owned by two brothers). Their mother is the main dumpling chef. The soup dumplings (has soup inside) are amazing…The place is clean, and well lit. Once the backyard patio is completed, it will be a cosy place to sit.”

BeiJing Dumpling is quickly becoming known for their authenticity, their friendly and quick service and the quality of food they serve.

Clearly people who have had a chance to try it already are pleased not only with the quality and authenticity of the dumplings, they’re also speaking highly of the staff and decor… AKA this place is evidently an all-around gem.
